This locally-owned place looks small, but go through one seemingly-uninteresting set of double doors & you'll find yourself in a warehouse-style room full of some of the highest quality pet food and treats known to the animal care industry. Not to mention the fact that their prices are incredible, the selection is truly vast. If your pet's already on a good food, go to see if they have it at a better price. If you're seeking a better food, go & ask the knowledgeable staff for their recommendations. A true find & a great place to browse!

Ciro Ristorante - Aldie (Stone Ridge)

Wow. All I can say is... wow. I didn't realize that dining like this still existed. Run by a talented and dedicated staff, the culinary creativity exhibited by Ciro is exquisite. Although they are not a restaurant to linger in when your budget is squeezed, the menu is reasonably priced considering the quality and service you receive. This place is a true gem!

Dog Days Playcare

If your dog truly needs interaction with other dogs during the day (very high-energy breeds & younger dogs can benefit from this playtime & socialization), this place is a wonderful option! We take our own dog, Maisy, there when she needs to burn off some energy & we can't make it to the dog park. They offer very reasonable pricing with an extremely well-versed staff. Grooming, inexpensive behavioral training & other services are also available.

Russia House - Herndon (Old Towne)

This is JT & Tracy's favorite "romantic dinner" spot. With several options prepared table-side, there are plenty of pleasant surprises. We highly recommend the borscht, chicken kiev and the house tea (an imported special recipe), but every item has left us tantalized. The warm & genuine owners also make this a worthy destination for a wonderful evening out. Be sure to see if the violinist is playing!
